Plum and mandarin bring a fruity opening, cinnamon adds warmth, and there’s that slightly bitter, boozy twist of absinthe alongside rose. But the powdery iris is what gets me — proper vintage makeup bag glamour, with musk and patchouli giving it a sensual edge.
This is dressed up, lipstick on, going somewhere worth leaving the house for perfume. It’s bold, theatrical and very much a bit of me.

Every time I smell it, I relive the pleasure of discovery of just how smooth it is! I have many HdP fragrances, in all sizes, but my Noir Patchouli is only 15ml, so I plan to get an larger bottle soon.
