I've been trying to get my spouse to ditch his old-fashioned habit of Old Spice. This was the only fragrance that he likes. The cedar, leather and vanilla notes resonated with his sense of what a man "should" smell like if he HAD to wear cologne.
He also liked the fragrance's historical nod. He's a history teacher.
Also, Histoires de Parfums has a great website and easy was to sample fragrances. I purchased the full flight of samples first, then selected this one for him after he was able to wear it several times. I've selected another for myself.
I have recently bought this beautiful perfume..but i feel like it's longevity and projection is not what i was expecting..has it been reformulated??
